Recent decades have seen an explosion of “fat free” foods to replace traditionally fatty foods, which trick people into thinking they’re eating healthy. However, these foods can actually cause you to get more fat than if you would have just ate the traditional one!
A study by Purdue University discovered that rats who were fed fat free foods gained more weight than rats that were fed a high fat diet! How is this possible? Eating these types of foods can throw off the body’s ability to regulate what it eats, which leads to overeating.
They also interfere with how your body is able to digest foods, which in turn causes it to horde real fat cells when they are eaten!
