Kids Look At 1980s Mobile Phones And Have Absolutely No Clue What They Are (VIDEO)

30 years is a long, long time in technology.



Give a bunch of kids one of the UK's first mobile phones from the 1980s and you get some confused reactions, as this video shows.



Is it a tape recorder? A projector? Half calculator and half something else?



And what did people use before mobile phones? Pigeons, definitely, one boy suggests.



New Year's Eve is the 30th anniversary of the first mobile phone call in the UK, made by 24-year-old Michael Harrison from outside in London's Parliament Square.
