The report, Gang Activity in the U.S. Armed Forces Increasing, states that members of nearly every major street gang have been identified on both domestic and international military installations.

Members of nearly every major street gang, including the Bloods, Crips, Black Disciples, Gangster Disciples, Hells Angels, Latin Kings, The 18th Street Gang, Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), Mexican Mafia, Nortenos, Surenos, Vice Lords, and various white supremacist groups, have been documented on military installations.

Even graffiti from the Ku Klux Klan and Aryan Brotherhood have been documented in the streets of Iraq.

Blondie the lion was purchased by Charles Hipp from the Dallas zoo in 1953 when she was a 12-week-old cub.

This unusual animal would become the subject of a Life magazine article that would become well known across the country.

It wasn't long before Blondie the Lion was being spotted almost everywhere the family went!

Blondie travelled in the station wagon with the family, went boating with the family, and even shared the family bathtub!

Surprisingly, Blondie never caused any trouble in the house or attacked any family members, or anyone for that matter!

Charles Hipp had a number of other exotic pets, including a leopard named Randy that mauled his two-and-a-half-year-old grandson which physically scarred him for the rest of his life.

After the incident, Charles Hipp gave away all of his exotic pets - except for Blondie.

Blondie became a loved family member, and died of old age in 1968.

As a result, America owns four of the six largest air forces in North and South America - but how is this possible?

America's military, like any other military, is split into different sections. There's the United States Air Force, United States Navy, United States Army, United States Marine Corps. And by the way, those are four of six largest air forces in the Americas.

The air force of the Marine Corps is larger than that of the Brazilian Air Force, and the Canadian Air Force - and remember, the Marine Corps isn't the main source of aviation for the United States Military!

The Canadian Air Force has 391 aircrafts in service, so just imagine how many America has in total!

EA sent out Brass Knuckles to games writers to promote The Godfather II game.

Electronic Arts contacted game writers around the country asking them to return the brass knuckles they were sent as part of the promotion.

The company wanted to make sure that the brass knuckles were "properly disposed of." Brass knuckles or metallic knuckles are illegal in many of the states that they were shipped to. They're also illegal in California, where EA is based.

Electronic Arts did not respond to emails seeking comment about the legality of the items they shipped and whether they faced any legal actions for shipping them across state lines.

Julius Wagner-Jauregg was an Austrian physician, and Nazi supporter, that lived from March 7, 1857, until September 27, 1940.

Most of his work involved pyrotherapy, which was the treatment of mental diseases by intentionally giving his patients a fever. His tests usually didn't go very well.

It wasn't until 1917 that Julius Wagner tried introducing malaria parasites to give his patients high fevers.

He first used malaria to treat dementia paralytics which is caused by neurosyphilis!

After this initial test, malaria was intentionally given to patients as a treatment for syphilis because it gave the patients a very long, very high fever.

Intentionally giving people malaria to cure syphilis was considered an acceptable risk because certain forms of syphilis were fatal, and malaria could be treated with quinine, which was readily available at the time!

Julius Wagner-Jauregg would go on to win a Nobel Prize in 1927 for his Research.

Unfortunately, Russia was still using the Julian calendar - a pretty dated (pun intended) way to keep track of the days!

After the Olympics, Pope Gregory XIII tried to initiate a planet wide effort for countries to adopt the Gregorian calendar.

Essentially, if you were switching suddenly to the Gregorian calendar - you were 'canceling' ten days a year!
