90% of clothes donated to U.S. charities are sold to textile recyclers. 75% of THAT are recycled. 25% are sold on the street markets in Africa at about 500% mark-up. This partly crushes the African textile industries because they can’t make new clothes as cheap as cheap old American clothes.

Raking the Sky Optical Illusion

Happy Saturday to everyone, and may you all have a great weekend! In a very famous movie, one of the principle actors in it talked about how life was all about certain points of view. Everyone can take a certain viewpoint of something, and painful as it may be, that point of view can help them cope with something heartbreaking, tragic, and sad. Do you know which famous film I’m referring to? If so, you should leave a comment below and let me know what movie you think it may be.

Either way, that actor was right when he said that points of view are how everyone takes the world and that also includes things like optical illusions. Today’s illusion is all about point of view, and this one is quite special because it looks as though the hand of God himself is taking the sky and turning clouds into long stripes, or perhaps it is the hand of mankind himself that has decided to get rid of the clouds? Whether this is the hand of God or man is really in the eye of the beholder, but it certain makes for quite a debate does it not?
