in-vo-lute

adj :: Intricate or complex.

“The possible moves being not only manifold but involute, the chances of such oversights are multiplied; and in nine cases out of ten it is the more concentrative rather than the more acute player who conquers.” –Poe, Edgar Allan

Memory : Phonetic Word Creation

crafty puzzles daily brain teaser

Here are some tips on making keywords using the Phonetic Mnemonic System. We have already explained how each digit has an associated sound and that these sounds can be constructed into words. The key here is that each digit has a sound, not a letter.

When a single sound is created with two letters, we only count it once. For example, ‘toll’ is 15 not 155 and ‘tack’ is 17 not 177.

When a repeated letter makes two different sounds, then it is counted. For example, ‘accept’ is 7091.

Silent letters are always ignored. For example dumb is 13 and knee is 2.

Unfortunate Posing Fail | Funny Photo Optical Illusion

Unfortunate Posing Fail | Funny Photo Optical Illusion

Good morning! I trust everyone had a great weekend. Mine could have been better, I guess, since I was so sick all weekend. Pretty horrible, really. But, I’m getting over it, and I’m gearing up for another week of illusions and fun! Maybe even a funny photo optical illusion or two.

Like this particular photo optical illusion…

Unfortunate Posing Fail | Funny Photo Optical Illusion

Something seems a little off here, doesn’t it? Like why is he wearing a flowered skirt and why is she wearing the trousers? If you didn’t notice that at first, it’s probably a little bit of a shock now.

In reality, though, everyone is wearing normal clothes in this photo optical illusion. It’s just the way that they’re posed that makes it look as if their lower halves have been switched. It’s a bit unfortunate when you think about it, though. I really hope that they didn’t use this image for their Christmas cards…

It’s still a funny photo optical illusion, and I’ll bet it get a little chuckle out of you anyway!

If you liked this funny photo optical illusions, head over and see if you can figure out who’s hugging whom!
