Shut the box
Saw this game somewhere recently, and I see that many of my fellow jocks have made these. This one was put together in less than an hour out of scrap laying around as I was trying to get it done to take to a birthday party.
Definitely not a showpiece, but holy cow was it popular! I hadn’t heard of this game a week ago, and now I have 15 people hounding me to make them one. Sheesh!
Took it to work the next day and heard “nice drinking game”. Kind of lets you know the crowd I work with :-)
The first round we played at my daughter’s birthday party (shes’ 28yo) was won by my 7 year old granddaughter by humiliating all of us by knocking all the tiles down, the 12 on her last roll. (I had a score in the 50’s that time)
Now I have to find a way to mass produce these. (and make them look a lot better)

“Secret Paintings” by Igor Lysenko
Igor Lysenko is a talented Russian artist, who has been working as scene-painter at Drama Theatre for the past 12 years. More importantly, he specialises in double vision and “secret-paintings“. Each of the selected paintings below includes an element of surprise – a hidden motive, sort to speak. Are you able to easily find it in each of his works? Try rotating them if you’re stuck! Is the surreal-atmosphere dominating Igor’s portfolio, or is it just me? I can’t exactly pinpoint why, but I get this impression a lot!
