Standford University's band has been banned from Disneyland. Wait until you hear these stories!

Let's take a ride with one of college football's most famous marching bands, shall we? The band doesn't really march—the members scatter. Or run like crazy from one point to another. It all depends how you look at it.

One thing that they do is put out some of the best sounds in the country, all while mocking anything that has any shroud of decency or respect.

Stanford University's Band has been banned from several campuses and even Disneyland. Some of their offenses include mocking a case of a missing girl at Southern Cal during halftime, playing outside OJ Simpson's trial, and taking over the Storyland Canal boats at Disney.

Roman letter fonts are all based on this man's handwriting!

Gian Francesco Poggio Bracciolini was a man of many virtues. He was a writer, an early humanist, and even served under the reign of seven popes at the Vatican.

He was a man that loved to read, and a well-educated one as well. Among the many things he did, he was able to recover a huge number of Latin manuscripts that were decaying and forgotten in several libraries throughout Europe.

One special attribute this man had was his handwriting. People considered it elegant, pleasing, and easy to read. People loved his handwriting, and this made him want to improve it while working in Florence as a manuscript copyist.

This way, he invented a formal script that eventually leads him to “Roman” fonts. Today’s Roman fonts (Times New Roman, for example) are all based on Poggio’s handwriting.

John Lennon was horrible to his first wife and child. I'm not sure if he's still my favorite Beatle.

John Lennon, despite what many Beatles fans would like to believe, was a terrible family man. John Lennon wasn't around when his son Julian was growing up, and once the divorce was finalized with Cynthia Lennon, John seemed to walk out on Julian altogether.

To add insult to injury, John Lennon completely removed Julian and Cynthia from his will when he passed away. All of John's fortune went to Yoko Ono.

After being snubbed, Julian Lennon went on a 16 year legal battle with Yoko Ono before she settled for an unnamed amount of money, believed to be in the neighbourhood of 20 million pounds!

However, the legal battle reminded Cynthia Lennon of her own legal battle that she had with John during the divorce. Cynthia remembers John being cruel about offering child support, and claims he supposedly said "My final offer is seventy-five thousand pounds. That's like winning the pools, so what are you moaning about? You're not worth any more."

The U.S.P.S still has clerks to read the addresses on some letters. Yes, even in 2014.

Ever since the arrival of computers and technology, the Postal Service has been able to grow considerably along with many other companies and corporations.

Technology has helped us to communicate easier and find what we need much faster. Nowadays, you can search for something you want on eBay and the U.S Postal Service can have it on your doorstep the next day.

Although 95% of mail is now sorted by computers, the U.S. Postal Service still employs clerks to decipher addresses that are too messy for the computers to understand. These clerks are expected to process 1,000 letters an hour, and upwards of 20% of them quit within the first 5 weeks.

Bruce Lee was too fast to be captured on camera! The workaround they came up with is amazing.

Bruce Lee was one of the physically fastest men of all time! Most martial art films are sped up to make fighting scenes appear fast, but not Bruce Lee's.

His moves were too fast to be captured on the regular 24 frames per second film, and so they had to film him at 32 fps, and run the film slower to make the movements visible.

In 1964, Bruce was invited to a karate championship in Long Beach, California. There he performed his famous "One Inch Punch," where he would deliver a devastating blow from only an inch away, sending his opponent flying back!
