Crafty Puzzles
My son has quite a few of these figureens that go to his Wii game “Skylanders”. They were getting in the way in the TV room so I went to the basement to remedy the problem. I did not have any lumber to make this project, so off to the Big Box Store. Two 1×6x6 pine for the border, four 1/4×6x24 poplar for the shelves one 2×4x 1/8 hardboard for the backing, and two bolts with butterfly nuts and washers to mount it to the wall. I cut the top bottom and sides to size, then routed them for the shelves. i routed a dado in the back so the hardboard sits flush with the back. I also routed the front edge to slide a cover into. The final outer dimensions ended up being 24 3/4×24 3/4.
