Stress : Make your own Stress Ball

crafty puzzles daily brain teaser

Squeezing a stress ball is an effective way to get rid of your frustrations. Being under stress can cause extra energy to build up in the body. The repetitive exercise of squeezing a stress ball can expend some of this excess energy and make you feel calmer. As a bonus, it builds up your wrist strength.

To make your own stress ball, you will need some small balloons. Using a scissors cut the neck off of a few of the balloons. Fill up one of the balloons with uncooked rice, small beans or beads. Now, take a second balloon and wrap it around the first one to cover the opening. Wrap several more balloons around the ball to thicken the wall and adjust the firmness to your liking. Squeeze away!

Memory : Vitamin C

crafty puzzles daily brain teaser

Vitamin C is an essential vitamin that the body needs to function properly. It is required for healthy skin, teeth and bones and it is essential for the brain to produce neurotransmitters such as dopamine and adrenalin. Our immune system also needs this vitamin to stay in tip-top shape.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that has been shown to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and other age related memory problems, especially when used in combination with vitamin E.

Every plant and nearly every animal on the planet can produce their own vitamin C. Humans are one of the exceptions. This means that we need to get our vitamin C from food sources such as oranges or broccoli. Without vitamin C, people develop a fatal disease called scurvy. In the past, this was common among sailors because it was difficult to keep fruits and vegetables on long sea journeys.

Find the Panda in a Sea of Snowmen

Find the Panda in a Sea of Snowmen

The snow from yesterday is still on the ground, but I don’t know for how much longer. Between the weather warming up already and the kids rolling up snowmen, it’s quickly disappearing. So, in honor of our first real snowfall (finally!), I have a fun little hidden object image for you today. I figured I’d better get this one up quickly, before all of the snow disappears!

Can you find the panda in the image below?

Find the Panda in a Sea of Snowmen

Good luck! It took me several seconds to find the little guy. He just blends right in with all of the snowmen. And, when I was trying to find the panda, my eyes were constantly being drawn to the snowmen with the noticeable differences. Like the snowman with the top hat and the ones with the scarves. Or, how about the one with the candy cane on top of his head?

I eventually did find the panda, but I’m not telling! You have to figure that one out all by yourself. I wonder, though, if the panda was hidden so well, if there’s anything else hidden in this image.

After you find the panda in this image, see if you can spot the dolphin in the rose!
