3D Shapes Optical Illusion

Some of my favorite posts I’ve done on this site involves amazing pieces of art. Lately, I’ve been posting up some 3D chalk art optical illusions, but I’ve realized that it’s been quite some time since I’ve posted up a 3D sketch art optical illusion. Well, I found an amazing piece of art today that I just can’t wait to share with you. This amazing artists puts his skills on display in this piece of art and you can check it out by scrolling down.

3D Shapes Optical Illusion

I told you that this person had some amazing artistic abilities and I don’t think that can be disputed whatsoever. Just look at the way the shapes flow together from top to bottom and the illusion continues even between the pages.

As usual, I’m going to refer to an old post on the site here that some of you may have missed that I really think deserves your attention. However, this one is a little bit different. The illusion I’m going to link you to today is actually a compilation of some accident smiley face pictures. In other words, it should definitely keep you busy for a while and I’m sure you’ll like it. Check out the post I’m talking about by clicking here and enjoy!

There is a network of catacombs under Odessa, Ukraine…

Odessas-Catacombs There is a network of catacombs under Odessa, Ukraine – largely unmapped 1,500-mile-long tangle of corridors and rooms. If it were laid out in a straight line, the labyrinth would stretch five times longer than the world’s second largest catacombs, underneath Paris. In 2005, a girl got lost in the catacombs below Odessa after a drunken New Year’s Eve party her and her friends had in there. They found her two years later.

In ancient China, during the Imperial Exams people were isolated in small rooms for 3 days with only a jug of water, a chamber pot, and writing supplies. To prevent favoritism official typists would copy all the exams so the examiners wouldn’t recognize the handwriting of the exam takers. People would spend years preparing for those exams. Many of them spent their entire family and village fortunes preparing, and pressure to succeed was such that many who failed would go mad or kill themselves.

After Olga of Kiev’s husband got murdered, she went after the culprits…

After Olga of Kiev’s husband got murdered, she went after the culprits and not only obliterated the whole family through ruse and deceit, but also destroyed their city. With pigeons.

Olga gave to each soldier in her army a pigeon or a sparrow, and ordered them to attach by thread to each pigeon and sparrow a piece of sulfur bound with small pieces of cloth. When night fell, Olga bade her soldiers release the pigeons and the sparrows. So the birds flew to their nests, the pigeons to the cotes, and the sparrows under the eaves. The dove-cotes, the coops, the porches, and the haymows were set on fire. There was not a house that was not consumed, and it was impossible to extinguish the flames, because all the houses caught on fire at once. The people fled from the city, and Olga ordered her soldiers to catch them. Thus she took the city and burned it, and captured the elders of the city. Some of the other captives she killed, while some she gave to others as slaves to her followers. The remnant she left to pay tribute.
