The document that ended the Soviet Union went missing!

The document that ended the Soviet Union went missing!

The Belavezha Accords was a political agreement set forth by the Soviet Union that basically broke up the Soviet Union.

Territories of the former Soviet Union became their own countries in a supposed peaceful manner. Of course, that was not the case.

Regardless, the Belavezha Accords brought a distinct level of peace to Eastern Europe that hadn't been seen in ages. The document was signed on December 8, 1991.

Since this is an extremely important historical document, you would think that it would be on display in a museum. Nope.

When Stanislau Shushkevich, a man who signed the Belavezha Accords, tried to write his memoirs, he was informed that the document has been missing since February 7, 2013! No one has any idea where the document is!
