Good things take time, great things take even longer. This statement proves true when it comes to Pixar and their many animated films that became a key component in so many children's lives.
We all know and love Toy Story, but not all of us know Toy Story 2. While it was still a great sequel, it took a lengthy amount of time to make.
In fact, Pixar became displeased with the speed of production, so they replaced one of the producers with another who tried to kick-start the animators progress on the film!
Although Pixar claims they discouraged long hours at the office, many animators felt the pressure to perform as the deadlines for the film were difficult to make.
These deadlines were so difficult, that many workers worked long hours at the office. These hours were so long that some animators developed carpal tunnel syndrome, and one animator forgot that he left his baby in the back seat of his car!
The animator who had dedicated all of his mental power to thinking about Toy Story 2, forgot to drop his baby off at day care in the morning.
Although a fellow employee realized his mistake before it was too late, it was becoming all too clear that Pixar employees were working a little bit too hard!
