The "Spanish" flu killed more people in 24 weeks than AIDS has in 24 years!

The "Spanish" flu killed more people in 24 weeks than AIDS has in 24 years!

By most estimates, AIDS has claimed the lives of millions. The influenza pandemic of 1918 killed anywhere between 50 to 100 million people. That's at least 3% of the world's population of that time.

What was strange about this influenza outbreak, which was then referred to as "Spanish Flu" was that it primarily infected young adults.

This was the third worst epidemic in modern history, the likes of which humanity had not seen the bubonic plague during the middle Ages!

AIDS has claimed around 25 million lives, not as many as the Spanish flu did. However it is important to learn about this current issue and do everything we can to prevent it from spreading.
