NASA named a treadmill after Stephen Colbert!

NASA named a treadmill after Stephen Colbert!

Besides being a political satirist, writer, comedian, television host, and actor, Stephen Colbert knows how to get involved with the greatest powers of the World and leave his mark behind.

Believe it or not, Stephen Colbert is a big fan of NASA. He is in fact a big fan, so big that he found a way for NASA to name one of their properties after him!

In 2009 Stephen Colbert won a NASA competition to have a module of the ISS named after him, but NASA opted to name it ‘Tranquility’ instead. They did, however, name a treadmill on the ISS after him. It is called the Combined Operational Load Bearing External Resistance Treadmill (C.O.L.B.E.R.T).
