If you ever hear "The Stars and Stripes Forever" in a circus, you might have reason to panic!

"The Stars and Stripes Forever" is a patriotic American march widely considered to be the magnum opus of composer John Philip Sousa.

By an act of the U.S. Congress, it is the official National March of the United States of America.

"The Stars and Stripes Forever" follows the standard American military march form. The march begins with a four-bar introduction, which is followed by a dotted, playful melody.

Despite of his catchy tone and beautiful sound, in a circus, "The Stars and Stripes Forever" would be played by the circus band to alert performers to distress and emergencies.

This song has not always been use as an entertaining song; it has been used to prevent fatalities or accidents from occurring.
