There is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States!

In February 2003, a Florida Court of Appeals unanimously agreed with an assertion by FOX News that there is no rule against distorting or falsifying the news in the United States.

A couple started working for FOX for an investigation regarding bovine growth hormone, and throughout the research they found that there were many health risks related to it, and people from Florida did pretty much nothing to avoid selling products with this dangerous hormone.

FOX made them distort the story and once they denied doing it, FOX fired them, they sued the company and the court appealed in favor of FOX Company.

Apparently it's o.k for television companies to lie to it's viewers.
