Adobe, the company in charge of making a variety of different computer software that you have most likely used in your life, has decided to help the police by stopping people from making counterfeit currency.




The latest version of Adobe Photoshop CS prevents users from opening up pictures of currency, nor can users print images of currency. The software has been programmed to recognize different forms of currency around the world!




Although this seems like a perfect idea to stop counterfeiters, many Adobe users decided to see if Photoshop truly stops them from editing images of currency. Many users found that with a little bit of tweaking, it is incredibly easy to get an image of currency into Adobe Photoshop CS!




Critics are wondering why Adobe put the feature on their latest Photoshop software if it was so easy to get around the systems program that detects currency. When asked, Kevin Connor, Adobe's director of product management for professional digital imaging said that "this just seems like the right thing to do,"
