Jon Stewart discussed his debut film “Rosewater” on HuffPost Live on Tuesday, telling Roy Sekoff about the difficulties of making the drama based on the memoir of Maziar Bahari, who was imprisoned by Iran in 2009 as an American spy.
The film is The Daily Show host’s debut as a writer and director, which due to the political content has been decried by authorities in Iran as the work of Zionists.
Stewart also talked about his role fronting his long-running comedy show, the process of generating material for its nightly outing and whether he'll carry on after his contract expires in 2015. http://ift.tt/eA8V8J
