In spite of what Jurassic Park and other dinosaur films have shown us, the Tyrannosaurus Rex probably did not roar. In fact, it is believed that most theropods like the Tyrannosaurus made hissing or rattling sounds, similar to that of modern day snakes or crocodiles.
