It's About Time



1. A train leaves Edinburgh at 8:00 a.m. and travels to London at 60 mph. At 9:00 a.m. another train leaves London and travels towards Edinburgh at 90 mph. Which train is the nearer to London when they pass?



2. Fitzgerald drove 30 miles to work every day. He averaged the same speed going to work as he did coming from work. It took him one hour and thirty minutes to drive to work. Yet it only took him ninty minutes to drive home. How come?
