Urban Skiing—Skiing in Detroit

When you think of skiing destinations, Detroit might not be on the top of your list.

It’s probably

not on the list at all!

But in the new film “Tracing Skylines” by Red Bull Media house and Poor Boyz productions, it’s a feature destination.

Three of the skiers in the segment, Karl Fostvedt, Khai Krepela, & Max Morello, make the most of the urban landscape, turning dilapidated and abandoned structures into private ski parks, constructing ramps from spare materials and sometime trucking in snow themselves.

Watch the “Tracing Skylines” video below and get your fill of adventure and odd hobbies at the same time.

You can purchase it on iTunes or the Tracing Skylines.

Thanks to Red Bull Media for the Images.
