A man came to own a boat known as 'Hitler's Yacht' and neo-nazi's offered him $500,000 for it!

After WWII, a boat mysteriously showed up in the United States. The yacht was unfortunately named "Hitler's Yacht."

There was no evidence that Hitler ever owned or even stepped aboard the boat, but this didn't stop it from creating a great deal of turmoil.

Alix Spiegel, who owned the boat, suddenly found that he was both very popular and very unpopular. A group of neo-Nazis offered him $500,000 for the yacht.

However, Spiegel was in no way a Nazi supporter. In fact, he gave the boat to a group of Jewish people so they could sink it and create a manmade reef. Sounds about right.
