Australia protects baby penguins with snipers!

Australia protects baby penguins with snipers!

Fox attacks on endangered penguins have led Australia's wildlife authorities to post snipers at night to protect the birds.

A colony of about 120 little penguins, also known as fairy penguins, at Quarantine beach in Sydney has recently lost about nine of it's number to attacks.

Autopsies on the dead penguins showed foxes or dogs were probably responsible because of the nature of the bite marks. DNA swabs have been analyzed.

Snipers have been hired to shoot down any predators that try to harm these little creatures. This way, these little fellows will be able to have a nice comfortable life and the species of those cute penguins won’t extinguish.
