Alec Guinness was the man British man that play Obi-Wan in the first three movies of Star Wars. Most of us love this science fictional story, however, the man, yes, Mr. Guinness, hated the series!
Alec Guinness, the actor who played Obi-wan Kenobi, despised star wars calling it "fairy tale rubbish." Regardless, he was one of the few cast members who believed the film would be a hit and negotiated a deal for 2% of the gross royalties paid to George Lucas. This made him a very rich man.
And it doesn’t stop there; He reportedly hated working on Star Wars so much, Guinness claims that Obi-Wan's death was his idea as a means to limit his involvement in the film. Guinness also claims to throw away all Star Wars related fan mail without even opening it.
My new hero.
The Human immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a lentivirus, that eventually turns into a retrovirus, that causes Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS), a condition in humans in which progressive failure of the immune system allows life-threatening opportunistic infections and cancers to thrive.
Infection with HIV occurs by the transfer of blood, semen, vaginal fluid, pre-ejaculate, or breast milk. Within these bodily fluids, HIV is present as both free virus particles and virus within infected immune cells.
If you are ever exposed to the virus by having any of the fluids mentioned above transferred to you, if you go to a clinic or ER within 72 hours of exposure and take the PEP drug regimen, you can prevent infection with HIV/AIDS.
However, we highly recommend for you to stay safe at all time and be cautious.
Even by Yahoo standards, this one is pretty bad. And, as always, avoid the comment section. If you want to preserve your sanity and faith in humanity, avoid the comment section.
The 'Twilight' star, who plays vampire Edward in the four movies, confessed he wasn't so "cool" when he was younger.
Up until he was 12, his sisters used to dress him up as a girl and introduce him as Claudia. Twelve was a real turning point for him since he moved to a mixed school, and then he decided to take control over his life and act like a man.
He also admitted to be a loner. He enjoys staying at home, watch TV and eat a lot of fast food. Pretty much what we all love to do!
Luckily for most girls, this guy didn’t stay as Claudia Pattinson, he might’ve end up being Bella in the movie instead of Edward in that case.
Like dolphins, killer whales are voluntary breathers, meaning their breathing is not automatic like it is for humans.
Instead, they must consciously rise to the surface and breathe. This makes sleeping for them much different than it is for other animals.
Studies on dolphins and beluga whales have shown that they sleep by shutting down only one hemisphere of the brain at a time, thereby allowing them to both rest and have control over their breathing. It is thought that killer whales, being closely related to dolphins, do the same thing.
Studies indicate that during a killer whale's first few months of life, neither the calf nor the mother sleeps at all. Once the calf becomes an adult and can fully breathe by it's own, it’s when they get their good night sleep.
