We spend so much time looking at optical illusions and impossible objects, I thought it might be fun to create one of our own. So, I present you today with hot to draw an impossible square!

It’s really not as hard as you would think to draw an impossible square illusion. It’s actually pretty simple and requires just a few easy steps…

See? All it takes to draw an impossible square is just a few straight lines, strategically placed, of course. If this post gets some good ratings, I may post other quick tutorials on how to draw optical illusions.

Here are some well-known expressions rewritten into “Cliff-ese”. For those of you who don’t know what that means, he was a very wordy person on the TV show “Cheers” and never used a small word where a larger one would work. Try to figure out the phrases in simpler terms.

Memory : Amygdala

The amygdala is a small part of the brain, adjacent to the hippocampus, that is believed to react most directly to emotions. From studies using brain scans, it has been shown that events that stimulate the amygdala are remembered better over time. This may be why emotionally significant events are remembered better than emotionally insignificant events.

Because the amygdala is involved heavily with emotions, it is believed to play a role in conditions such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and phobias.
