It feels like a lazy day to me. It’s the weekend, the weather’s finally warm—a little too warm here, if you ask me—and I just don’t feel like doing much of anything today. Of course, I do have a fence outside that is in dire need of a few coats of paint, but I’m afraid that’ll have to wait. With the lazy mood I’m in today, I’ll probably just end up sitting on it and watching the world go by.
Yep, just a relaxing lazy day sittin’ on a fence…
Or climbing over it…? Or how about both?
This fence optical illusion looks like it was created digitally, but that doesn’t make it any less interesting. Depending on which little digital dude you focused on first, you may have seen a guy climbing over a fence or a guy sitting on a fence.
The little digital dude on the right looks like he’s feeling lazy like me today. He’s decided to take a load off, unlike his more energetic buddy. The digital dude in the left of the image looks like a bit of a spitfire and has all sorts of energy today! He’s all about climbing over the fence, and he’s making the rest of us lazy underachievers look bad by carrying a load over the fence on his back. I don’t know why he just doesn’t walk around it, but to each his own.
Do you see why this is a fence optical illusion, though? I’m sure most of you do, but I’ll explain it anyway. If you don’t see it, take a good look at the diagonal fence post, then the sitting dude, then the fence posts on either side. Since the rungs of the fence are going straight into the fence posts on either side, there’s no way that the rungs could create the seat that they do and no way they could be spaced out like they are on the diagonal brace.
This fence optical illusion is similar to this fence optical illusion, only with the inclusion of a couple of digital dudes.
